INSURANCE INFO:

‘In Network’ Insurance

Insurance companies typically cover all or most of the charges when you see an in network provider, though you may be responsible for a copay or percentage of the visit depending on your specific plan.

I am currently IN Network only with Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS). I am considered out of network for all other insurance companies.

‘Out of Network’ Insurance/Self-Pay

The process of seeing an out of network provider can be a bit more complicated, but doesn’t have to be difficult or unaffordable.

When you see me as an out of network provider, you cover the costs of the appointment at the time of service. You will receive a special invoice called a “superbill” which you can then use to request reimbursement from your insurance carrier. Insurance companies each vary in how much they will reimburse for out of network care, with some reimbursing a fixed value and others reimbursing a percentage of the charges.

If you are considering seeing me as an out of network provider, please contact me and we can have a brief discussion of how to ask your insurance company for an estimate of what they will reimburse. Current self-pay rates are below:
