Healing happens when you feel safe, heard, and validated

About Me

I have been providing evidence-based psychotherapy to adults with a wide range of concerns since 2016.

As a licensed psychologist, I offer a relational, integrative, and evidence-based approach to therapy, blending warmth and insight with structured support. Drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I work to meet you where you are—honoring your unique story, strengths, and goals.

I specialize in providing short and long-term therapy to adults (18+) who are navigating complex emotional landscapes, and who are struggling with symptoms of a wide range of disorders including depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, borderline personality disorder, and healing from childhood and relational trauma. Through a compassionate, collaborative lens, I help clients build emotional resilience, deepen self-understanding, and reconnect with a sense of purpose and self-worth.

My work is grounded in a deep respect for each person’s lived experience (please see my Commitment to DEI section below for further information). I integrate a relational and evidence-based perspective to explore how early relationships, stressors, and trauma shape current patterns, while also equipping clients with practical tools to move forward with greater clarity and values-consistent choice. This means that therapy with me will often look like a blend of skills instruction/practice (as applicable) and discussing your concerns, but I am flexible based on your needs and goals. I may be a psychologist, but you are the expert on you, and it’s important to me that my clients feel they are partners in their own care. So we’ll also regularly check in about how you’re feeling about our work together, and can adjust as needed.

Client Concerns

I offer individual therapy (55 min) on a weekly or biweekly basis. While not an exhaustive list, here are some of the concerns we can work on together.

Please contact me with questions, to learn more, or to set up an initial appointment.

At this time, I may NOT be a fit for:

  • Primary concerns related to struggles with infertility, pregnancy, or postpartum

  • Primary concern related to insomnia

  • Clients who are likely to need sessions outside of my available hours

  • I have extensive experience providing specialized, evidence-based treatments for anxiety and obsessive-compulsive symptoms. My approach includes both traditional Cognitive Behavioral Therapy methods—such as Exposure Therapy and Exposure and Response Prevention—as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I work with a wide range of concerns, including social anxiety, specific phobias, panic disorder and agoraphobia, generalized anxiety and excessive worry, and obsessive-compulsive disorder and related issues.

  • In addition to the specific struggles presented above, I have years of experience helping clients navigate the complexities of life, with a particular focus on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Please reach out to me to further discuss whether I could be a therapeutic fit for you.

  • I have extensive experience providing empathic, evidence-based treatments for depression and mood disorders. I primarily use evidence based treatments such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help clients struggling with these symptoms re-engage in a life that feels fulfilling, while providing tools to cope with persistent symptoms.

  • With years of experience in PTSD and trauma recovery, I offer compassionate, research-backed therapies tailored to both veterans and civilians. I have particular experience helping individuals navigate the lasting impacts of early emotional neglect and invalidation, fostering resilience and healing. My practice is grounded in proven approaches like CBT, ACT, and trauma-informed care, with an emphasis on supporting individuals in reclaiming safety, connection, and self-worth.

  • I am trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help individuals struggling with intense emotions that may fluctuate rapidly, who may also have consistent relationship difficulties or unstable relationships, impulsivity, other related concerns. I can help you to learn to manage your emotions, identify unhelpful patterns that may be impacting relationships, learn to communicate needs effectively, and heal from related trauma as applicable.

  • I have extensive training and expertise in providing assessment and individual therapy for those who may be seeing things others can’t see or hearing things others can’t, with a focus on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. If you are experiencing concerns about this for you or a loved one who is interested in therapy, please reach out to me to further discuss.

Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Please note:

I am committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment where all feel valued and respected. I embrace diversity in all its forms, including but not limited to race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, ability, age, socioeconomic status, neurotype, political and religious beliefs, and relationship styles. I am committed to confidentiality, respecting each client's autonomy, and honoring your lived experiences. That said, it will of course be up to you, and then to us, to determine whether I have the knowledge, capacity, and style you need in a therapist. Additionally, I do hold multiple identities of privilege, including white privilege and class privilege, and that of providing therapy in my native language and culture. I aim to assist with humility for any lacking insider understanding and am dedicated to ongoing education and training to better serve individuals from diverse backgrounds.
